• Interview with Amy: MECCA Beauty Loop •

Bonjour à tous!

The MECCA Beauty Loop is a range of free products and services released quarterly for MECCA members who have attained a level 1, 2 or 3. The three different types of beauty loops you can obtain depend on the amount you spend yearly at MECCA. Level 2 even includes complimentary makeup applications and lessons, whilst a Level 3 member receives a birthday gift and is invited to complimentary international events.

Unfortunately this quarter I wasn’t able to receive a Beauty Loop as I didn’t quality for any of the levels. However, my sister Amy  received one and I have interviewed her about the products! Let’s see what she thought! Amy is an amateur makeup artist and beauty lover. She is incredibly talented at makeup and skincare, and she is passionate about helping women to look and feel their best.

Chloe (C): Hi Amy! Welcome to Chloe’s Voyage.

Amy (A): Hi Chloe, great to be here.

C: So what level are you in the Beauty Loop? What products did you receive?

A: I am in the Level 1 Beauty Loop. I received four beautiful gifts, including the Terry Hyaluronic Hydra-Powder,  NARS Larger than Life Longwear Eyeliner, Hourglass Mineral Veil Primer and Origins Modern Friction Dermabrasion.

C: What did you think about the Beauty Loop?

A: It was a really big surprise, as I hadn’t known about it before. I had only gone to MECCA to get some foundation and mascara. I couldn’t wait to open it – I knew that it would contain good products because MECCA is great quality!

C: And how much did you have to spend to be a part of the beauty loop as a Level 1 member?

A: Well, I spent $130 this time, and I think it was about $300 per year.

[I found out the exact amounts for each level:

Level 1: Beauty Discover – spend $300 AUD per year

Level 2: Beauty Devotee – spend $600 AUD per year

Level 3: Beauty Aficionado – spend $1200 AUD per year]

C: What were your thoughts on the Hourglass veil Mineral Primer?

A: I have only used it once so far, but I found that it was really good for my face. It is SPF 15, and it smooths out the skin and pores. My makeup felt really lightweight with it on, which was great.

C: And what about the Origins Modern Friction Nature’s Gentle Dermabrasion?

A: I found that is was quite gentle on my skin. I don’t like to use an exfoliator too often on my skin though, as I don’t want it to dry out or get too irritated.

C: How was your experience with the NARS Larger than Life Long-Wear Eyeliner?

A: The eyeliner was amazing! It goes on really well, like a pencil. It is plastic instead of wood, so there are no bits that get chipped in your eye. It’s fantastic!

C: What did you think of the By Terry Hyaluronic Hydra Powder?

A: It is supposed to be good for skin to cover up spots. It hasn’t actually made a huge difference to my spots as of yet, but then again I have only been using it for a while. I would recommend it – it is there to help your skin and give you extra hydration.

And that completes the interview! I hope you enjoyed it and that you’ve got a bit more of an idea about the MECCA Beauty Loop and some of the lovely products on offer!

  1. You actually make it seem so easy with your presentation however I find this topic to be actually one thing which I think I’d by no means understand. It seems too complex and very large for me. I’m looking ahead on your next put up, I’ll try to get the dangle of it!
